A challenge was brought to me recently to create a line of tea based on the Fruit of the Spirit. Sounds lovely. Then again, who wants to drink a cup of Long Suffering? Bring on the cup of Patience? I know you’ll pass. It’s a challenge though, so naturally, I have to do this.

I took this to God. I want to start with long-suffering because it appeared to be the hardest to make. I believe this is the fruit highly developed in every warrior and every family that The H Life fights for. It’s important. They are important.

Building on that importance, my search began in the word.

Long-suffering: to Endure, to have endurance, to continue.

1.) Bearing or suffering: a continuing under pain or distress without resistance, without sinking or yielding to the pressure. Sufferance, patience.

“Their fortitude was most admirable in their presence and endurance of all evils, of pain and of death.”

2.) delay, awaiting for

So, Long-suffering is Endurance. The ability to stay strong and finish. It is enduring all, that comes against us to see victory. This describes our families and our warriors. We endure the day or circumstance. Endurance is a continuance, a state of lasting or duration.

When we endure there is sweetness. We find it in the friendships we develop with families. There is sweetness in the possibilities and sweetness in overcoming the impossible. We find sweetness in our Heavenly Father and I personally find sweetness in the mission Heather gave me, her purpose. That is why Endurance, our newest tea is both bitter and sweet

Hebrews 12:1

“Let us run with endurance the race that I set before us, looking to Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith”.

Endurance is a Herbal Fruit Tea

1 tsp per 8 oz

Temp 212 degrees (boiling)

Steep 3-5 minutes

Excellent as an iced tea
