🎗️ Brooklyn Medina – Say My Name 🎗️
Brooklyn had the courage of a lion and a heart of gold. Her smile lit up every room, and her giggles were music to those around her. She lived fully in the moment and showed unconditional love in everything she did.
She adored unicorns, nature, and animals like giraffes, rhinos, cats, dogs, and axolotls. Butterflies and bees fascinated her, and she loved playing outside—especially in cold weather.
In April 2023, at two years old, Brooklyn’s parents noticed a lazy eye that appeared suddenly, along with fatigue and difficulty walking. After an MRI, she was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an aggressive and inoperable brain tumor.
Brooklyn began treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, undergoing radiation and participating in a clinical trial. Throughout it all, she continued to smile, sing with her music therapist, and find comfort in the people and moments she loved.
She formed a special bond with Snuggle, a golden retriever who brought her peace during difficult days.
After a brave nine-month fight, Brooklyn passed away on February 17th, 2024, surrounded by love.
Her parents, Darline and Anthony, continue her legacy by raising awareness and fighting for a cure for DIPG—carrying forward Brooklyn’s story and spirit.
