Amazing Mia was a strong, God-loving, boisterous, and passionate young woman. She was athletic and competitive, playing soccer and flag football, and was a member of her middle school cheer team—all while maintaining a high academic average.
Mia’s faith was the foundation of her life. She believed deeply in the power of prayer and lived with a “Faith Over Fear” mindset as she fought her cancer battle for 10 months.
She worked hard, played hard, and loved even harder. Mia surrounded herself with friends from all walks of life and inspired others to be loyal, caring, and supportive. She didn’t just talk about strength—she showed it every single day.
Mia found joy in life, even in the hardest moments, and had a way of making others laugh and feel seen.
She would have said her family was her hero—but to them, she was the hero.
Her fight against DIPG showed a level of determination and courage that can’t be taught. She proved that it’s not how you start, but how you finish—and her story is far from over.
