Pancakes and Bacon Coffee
Pancakes and Bacon Coffee
Yes, it is breakfast in a cup. The Pancakes, Bacon, and Coffee all rolled in there! We did some taste testing on this coffee for Joe Smeeding's family and well as brought it to some local folks to taste test. The ratings where excellent! So now, you know what's in a Cup-a-Joe.
This coffee was created in loving memory of Joseph Smeeding.
Joe Smeeding was funny, curious, contagiously playful, quick witted, and secretly sweet. He could be the smartest person in the room but wouldn’t let you know it. He was brilliant but not arrogant.
As a child, he was known for his love of pigs and his blond curls. High school friends recall his nasal laugh and bad dance moves. In college, he befriended everyone as he showed them around campus, played guitar, sang badly. His neurosurgeons knew that his blood type was orange for his love of SU basketball. The rigors of graduate school did not consume his life. His insistence on playing intramural basketball and riding on his scooter ultimately made him a better student and a more interesting friend. Both faculty and classmates described Joe as intelligent, calm and joyous.
Joe loved Jimmy V’s speech: he never gave up as he went through surgeries, radiation, and chemo. He diligently wore his Optune Cap 24-7 for over a year. Joe never complained and didn’t give cancer the time of day.
In the end, Joe said he would do his best. A best friend to everyone, to family Joe was the cool cousin, the mischievous little brother and became a beloved big brother.
Without Joe the world has less laughter.
He wasn’t someone who lived to work.
He worked to live. He was Joe Smeeding, the person who could make you laugh
even in life’s worst moments.
